A PFM Maryland (2-wing) restoration is a conservative, resin-bonded solution designed to replace a single missing tooth with minimal tooth reduction. A porcelain-fused-to-metal pontic provides natural esthetics on the facial surface, while two thin metal wings bond discreetly to the lingual surfaces of the adjacent teeth for stable retention. This option is ideal for cases where preservation of enamel is a priority and full-coverage crowns are not indicated.
